Our Mission
South Shore Sailing School’s mission is to provide people of all ages the opportunity to experience the sport of sailing in a safe, fun, and sustainable environment.
Our Ask
As you can imagine, fulfilling this mission presents many challenges and we cannot do it alone. We rely on donations from our network of friends, families, students, their families, and countless other supporters. Your donations will help us with critical infrastructure needs which include safety equipment, rigging, docks, coach boats, sailboats, and repairs & maintenance. Continued education for our instructors and volunteers alike. Providing scholarships for the local community of underprivileged children.
Every donation, no matter the dollar amount, matters and helps us reach our goal of $7,500.00.
With your donation of $150 or more, you will receive a 20 oz., Polar Camel, South Shore Sailing School, Double wall Insulated Hot/cold Water Bottle.
Who We Are
We are a small non-for-profit 501(c)3 organization located in Michigan City, Indiana. We operate on a limited budget and rely on the hard work and dedication of several unpaid volunteers. We are a caring group of people who want nothing more than to be good stewards of the sport we love and ensure its survival for generations to come.
