Camp Cancellations

  • Camp sessions may be cancelled due to public health epidemic or pandemic, natural disaster, public safety restrictions, and other unforeseen circumstances. Full refund available. 
  • Camp sessions may be canceled if minimum enrollment is not met. Full refund available. 

Other than providing the refunds described, the South Shore Sailing School is not responsible or liable for any losses arising out of such cancellation and will not provide any other compensation. Refunds will be made directly to the credit card or original form of payment that was used in the purchase; there is no action needed by the customer to receive a refund. All refunds will be completed within 20 days of the customer being notified.

Camp Withdrawals

If you wish to withdraw, please submit notification to our offices via email at info@southshoresailingschool.org. The email must be submitted by the customer who initially completed the purchase. Refunds will be processed as detailed below and may be offered in the original form of payment.

  • 91 or more days prior to the first day of the camp session – Withdrawal requests received 90 or more days prior to the first day of the camp session will be processed with no withdrawal fee.
  • 90 – 61 days prior to the first day of the camp session – Withdrawal requests received 90 – 61 days prior to the first day of the camp sessions for any camp purchases are subject to a 25% withdrawal fee, regardless of the initial purchase date.
  • 60 – 31 days prior to the first day of the camp session – Withdrawal requests received 60 – 31 days prior to the first day of the camp session are subject to a 50% withdrawal fee, regardless of the initial purchase date.
  • 30 – 0 days prior to the first day of the camp session – Withdrawal requests received 30 – 0 days prior to the first day of the camp session and will not be eligible for refund or credit.

Camp Transfers

If you wish to change Camp Sessions, please submit request to our offices via email at info@southshoresailingschool.org. The email must be submitted by the customer who initially completed the purchase. 

  • 91 or more days prior to the first day of the camp session – Transfer requests received 90 or more days prior to the first day of the camp session will be processed with no transfer fee. *
  • 90 – 61 days prior to the first day of the camp session – Transfer requests received 90 – 61 days prior to the first day of the camp sessions for any camp purchases are subject to a 25% transfer fee, regardless of the initial purchase date. *
  • 60 – 31 days prior to the first day of the camp session – Transfer requests received 60 – 31 days prior to the first day of the camp session are subject to a 50% transfer fee, regardless of the initial purchase date. *
  • 30 – 0 days prior to the first day of the camp session – Transfer requests received 30 – 0 days prior to the first day of the camp session will not accepted.

Age Policy

  • If a student in the Youth Camp Session is found to be under the age of 8 or over the age of 17, they will be removed from the session and will not be eligible for refund or credit.
